: (1) The local bodies existing at the time of commencement of this constitution shall remain in force until the number and area of ​​the local level is determined in accordance with this constitution.
(2) The election of the office bearers of the local bodies that are in force in accordance with sub-section (1) shall be in accordance with the law.
(3) The officers of local bodies elected in accordance with sub-section (2) shall remain in office until the local level elections are held in accordance with this constitution.
